Who We Are
We're Purple Peacock
Moving inside the Loop takes a different kind of know-how — tight parking, elevator reservations, historic homes in the Heights, and high-rises in Midtown. We're Derik and Chris, a locally owned, family-run crew that's been navigating central Houston's logistics for years.
We coordinate with building management, protect hallways and common areas, and show up on time even when the city doesn't. From River Oaks to Montrose to the Galleria, we treat every central Houston move with white-glove care and a fair, honest price.

What Our Customers Say
Real Reviews from Real Central Houston Families
A+ for Professionalism, Courtesy, On-Time, Fair Pricing, Dependability, Flexibility, Communication & Excellent Staff Camaraderie. My furnishings were exceptionally cared for. They set my mind at ease in the midst of a house selling spin. If you need the stress of the actual move itself taken off your plate, I highly recommend the Purple Peacock Movers. They bring strong work ethic to another level!
Terri Thorne
I can't say enough good things about this company. They are so professional and protected everything so well. The people who showed up were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our move went smooth. We had a large move and they got it all done in one day and I couldn't be happier!
Karyn Blake
Derrick and Chris and Chris are the best! Highly recommend Purple Peacock Movers! They set an arrival time of 8:30-8:50 and arrived at 8:30. Two large storage units were emptied and moved to a house. They were very conscientious about taking good care of every single item, box, piece of furniture while maintaining excellent positive demeanor. Everyone worked super hard, yet we managed a few cheers and laughs too.
